Kickstarter FAQ

Thank you for supporting Cyberpunk TCG! Check out the answers to some frequently asked questions about our Kickstarter Campaign and eventual retail release.

When will my Kickstarter rewards be delivered?

Products will be delivered in two separate waves. From the Netrunner Starter Kit pledge tier and above, the first wave will only contain starter decks, Beta booster displays, add-on starter decks, and add-on Beta booster displays. Fulfillment for the first wave begins in Q3 2026 (express shipping).

The second wave will contain accessories from the Netrunner Starter Kit pledge tier and above, Beta Box, add-on accessories, and non-foil and foil Lucy cards. The second wave will also contain the Common Cyberdecks and Quickhacks pledge tier starter decks, Beta booster displays, add-on starter decks and add-on Beta booster displays. Fulfillment for the second wave begins in Q4 2026 (standard shipping).

Will there be a pledge manager for late pledges?

Yes, a pledge manager will open after the Kickstarter campaign ends. Late pledges will be available, but for a limited time and for limited quantities.

When will you charge my credit card?

All credit cards will be charged after the Kickstarter campaign ends.

How do I get the free Lucy card?

Backers who followed/saved our Kickstarter campaign during the pre-launch window (before March 17th, 2026) will get a free Foil Nova Rare Lucy card included in their reward shipment after the campaign ends. As long as you pledge to a reward tier, the card will arrive with your other rewards– no additional action required.

Anyone who signed up for our email newsletter during the early support window (before January 21, 2026) is eligible to receive a non-foil Nova Rare Lucy card– even if they don’t back the project. If you did back the project, the non-foil card will also ship with your other rewards. Otherwise, if you didn’t back the project, we’ll collect your shipping information for the non-foil card via email, after our campaign concludes.

What are the available languages for Kickstarter cards?

For our Kickstarter, all cards will be in English. We’re currently working on bringing more languages to Cyberpunk TCG, including French!

How do I include Optional Buys in my pledge?

  1. Go to “Manage your Pledge” and click on “Change your Pledge.”
  2. Confirm your Pledge Level (or adjust to a different pledge) and amount pledged.
  3. You’ll be directed to a ‘Confirm reward’ page. There, you'll be able to select the available Optional Buys as well as any additional value you’d like to add to your pledge.
  4. Click on ‘Continue’ towards the bottom of the page.

What are the differences between Kickstarter products and retail products?

Starter decks and booster boxes from Kickstarter will have a Beta symbol, unlike retail products after Kickstarter. They will also contain art variants of cards that are exclusive to the Kickstarter Beta product.

How does the Beta Box work?

Every backer at the Netrunner Starter Pack tier and above receives a free Beta Box. It includes (1) Booster pack and all Legends from unlocked stretch goals. If more stretch goals are unlocked, more goodies and cards will be added to the Beta Box.

Where can I find the Alpha kit decks?

Check out our Print & Play PDFs here!

Will the Starter Decks have any exclusive cards?

Yes, each starter deck will include 5 mechanically unique cards exclusive to their respective product.

How do VAT and sales taxes work?

VAT and sales tax will be collected within the pledge manager after the Kickstarter campaign ends.

Are there additional shipping fees?

Once the Kickstarter campaign ends, you’ll be directed to our pledge manager. Within the pledge manager, you’ll be able to make your final selection on accessory designs. You’ll also pay for shipping, as well as any regional sales tax or VAT associated with your final pledge amount. You’ll only pay for shipping once, regardless of whether your pledge includes a first or second wave product.

Please note that Optional Buys incur an additional shipping fee to your final pledge calculated at the Pledge Manager step once the campaign ends. For more information, visit our Shipping & Taxes section.

What are the differences between the binder options?

Toploader binders are designed to fit plastic “toploader” hard cases– perfect for showcasing collections. Meanwhile, the foil binder is designed to fit unsleeved cards or ones in “perfect fit” sleeves– perfect as a trading binder. Here are the specs on the various binders!

Foil Binder 3x3

  • 360 cards
  • 20 pages (1 page = 9 pockets × 2 sides = 18 cards per page)

Toploader Binder 2x2

  • 96 cards
  • 12 pages (1 page = 4 pockets × 2 sides = 8 cards per page)

Toploader Binder 3x3

  • 216 cards
  • 12 pages (1 page = 9 pockets × 2 sides = 18 cards per page)

What are Box Toppers?

For our $6M and $8M stretch goals, we will add “box toppers” to our Beta Booster Displays. In the TCG industry, a box topper is a single random promotional card included inside of a booster display as a special bonus.
