All Ticket sales for Edgerunner Open Regionals will be handled directly through Melee, and will be made available in multiple waves. Links for where you can purchase tickets for each event will be added here at the times listed below.

EOR Chicago (2048* Player Main Event)

If you backed the Cyberpunk TCG Kickstarter campaign, we’re giving you an exclusive opportunity to secure tickets to our first Edgerunner Open Regionals before anyone else. You can enter the backer lottery for both events below. Entries close on September 20 and winners will be notified on September 23.

Please be aware that to purchase a ticket through Melee, you need to have linked your Melee and Cyberpunktcg.com accounts together. Instructions on how to do this can be found on our Organized Play FAQ page.

We highly recommend completing this step before ticket sales begin, to streamline the process for yourself and increase your chances of securing a ticket once they go live.

At every EOR event, players will have the opportunity to earn and redeem Prize Wall Eddies for a selection of preem promos and goodies. Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s on offer on our first Prize Walls, along with how many Eddies you’ll need to earn to grab the goods you’re looking for.

EORs are played using our Constructed Best-of-Three format. Further details about this format will be available when we publish our complete Tournament Rules soon.

Players will compete in 8 Swiss rounds on day one of the main event, earning 3 match points for each round win, 1 match point for each round draw, and 0 match points for each round loss.

At the end of day one, all players with 18 match points or higher will qualify for day two of the competition, where they will play 3 further Swiss rounds. At the end of those rounds, the top 16 players based on match points will compete in 4 single-elimination rounds to determine a final champion.

All tiers of prizing in EORs are additive, meaning that every step higher you go, you’ll also receive all of the prizes associated with every previous tier.

*Black Sapphire Invitational Invites will not be awarded to players with matching records below the top 64. All other top 64 prizes will be awarded to players whose records match that of the player in 64th place.

When submitting their Main Event decklists through Melee, players will rank their three Legends in order of priority. At the end of the tournament, starting with the champion and working down through the final standings, the highest-performing players will receive a serialized Encrypted Legend promo of their highest-priority Legend that has not already been awarded.

This ensures that the highest-performing player with each unique Legend in their crew will receive that Legend as a serialized Encrypted promo.

To make that a little clearer, let's look at how that would play out across a top 4 where every player is running the exact same Legends, submitted in the same priority order:

Player A (1st place):

• V: Streekid

As no Encrypted Legends have been awarded yet, the champion will always be awarded their top-priority Encrypted Legend. In this case, it's V: Streetkid.

Player B (2nd place):

• V: Streekid
• Judy Álvarez: Braindance Maestro
• Dexter DeShawn: Off The Grid

As V: Streekid has already been awarded to the champion, Player B is awarded their second-priority Encrypted Legend.

Player C (3rd place):

• V: Streekid
• Judy Álvarez: Braindance Maestro
• Dexter DeShawn: Off The Grid

As V: Streekid and Judy Álvarez: Braindance Maestro have already been awarded, Player C is awarded their third-priority Encrypted Legend.

Player D (4th place):

• Dexter DeShawn: Off The Grid

Encrypted Legends of all three of this player’s Legends have already been awarded, so they will not receive any Encrypted Legend promo.

We’ll have a full schedule of side events available for all kinds of players at Edgerunner Open Regionals, and we’ll share these with you a little closer to the events.

However, we can reveal that during each EOR, there will be premier side events that offer further Black Sapphire Invitation invites, an additional chance to win EOR top 64 Dexter DeShawn: Off The Grid promos, and serialized playmats for top-performing players.

In addition, 3-day EOR events such as EOR Chicago will feature additional premium side events on Friday. As the first EOR, attendees who couldn’t purchase a main event ticket will have the opportunity to play in a Last Chance play-in tournament — giving them a second chance to make their way into the main event, which begins on Saturday.
