Retailer FAQs

How do I sign up for a Melee.gg account?

Go to Melee.gg, click on the profile icon in the top-right corner, and click “Create an account”. From there, you will be asked to enter an email address and password for your account. Verify your account through the email, and you’re ready to use your Melee.gg account.

How do I create a Beta Event?

  1. After signing in to your Melee.gg account, find “Your Tournaments” by clicking on the profile icon in the top-right corner of Melee.gg.
  2. Once on the “Your Tournaments” page, click “+ Create a Tournament” in the top right corner of your screen.
  3. Then, select “Cyberpunk TCG” as the game and click “Continue.”
  4. On the next screen, fill in relevant information under the “Tournament Details,” “Structure and Format,” and “Player Registration” tabs. Be sure to choose the tag “Beta Event.” The rest of the tabs may be populated with additional information about your event, but are not required. When you’ve entered all relevant information, click “Create Tournament.”
  5. Now you’re in the “Tournament Controller” screen. Click on “Phases” on the left and verify that the tournament is structured correctly for your event. Important: For Beta Events, the correct structure is the “swiss” type of matching and “sealed” format.
  6. Once this is complete, click on “Tournament Actions” in the top right and select “Publish Tournament.”
  7. To view the public event page, click on “View Tournament Page” under the “Tournament Actions” tab. This page can be shared with your players and published anywhere you wish to advertise your event. Important: You will need to add a location to the tournament for it to show up in the “Find Events” searches.

How do I register an Organization with my Melee.gg account?

First, you need to create an account. You can find out how to do that in the “How do I sign up for a Melee.gg account?” section of this FAQ.

To become an Organization capable of creating and running tournaments on Melee.gg, click “+ Add an Organization” under the profile dropdown in the top right corner. From there, follow the steps outlined to enter your Organization’s information. Please note: for new organizations, the verification process takes up to 24 hours. You will receive an email once your Organization has been enabled.

Will you require any account linking between my Melee.gg account and another system?

Yes, all organizations and players will have to link their Melee.gg account to a CyberpunkTCG.com account.

How do I sign up for a CyberpunkTCG.com account?

Go to CyberpunkTCG.com and click “Sign In” at the top right of the screen. Go to the bottom of the window and select “Create an Account.” Enter your email and password, and verify your account through the email sent to you immediately after submitting this information.

When starting the linking process from CyberpunkTCG.com:

  1. Click the “Account” button at the top right of the screen. Click the “Manage Account” button to go to your account page.
  2. Under your account details on CyberpunkTCG.com, there is a section titled “Connected Accounts”. Click on “Connect Melee”.
  3. You will then be prompted to sign into the Melee.gg account you would like to connect. Complete this step, and your account will now be connected.

When starting the linking process from Melee.gg:

  1. Click on your profile icon in the upper right corner and choose “Manage your account settings.”
  2. From the left-hand section menu, choose “Game-specific info.”
  3. Find the section on “Cyberpunk TCG ID” and click on the button to link the accounts.
  4. You will be redirected to the CyberpunkTCG.com login page, where you can either create a CyberpunkTCG.com account or log into an existing one.
  5. Once you log in, you will be presented with a connection request screen. Click “Connect with Melee” to complete the linking process.

How do I claim my store on CyberpunkTCG.com?

  1. Once you create a CyberpunkTCG.com account, in the top-right corner of the page, click on your account button.
  2. Choose “Manage Account” from the dropdown menu.
  3. On the bottom of your account details page, you will see text: “Are you a store owner? Claim your store.” There is a link within the text that will take you to the beginning of the Store Claim process.
  4. If you used the same email address for your Store Application and your CyberpunkTCG.com account, the store will be automatically claimed for your account.
  5. If you used different email addresses for your Store Application and your CyberpunkTCG.com account, you must verify that you’re the owner of the email address used in the Store Application you created. To verify, click the verification link from the email sent to that address once you added the Store Application email. If you used the incorrect email in your application, please contact support.
  6. If your store was already claimed by another CyberpunkTCG.com account, you won’t be able to claim it. Please contact support if you think there is an issue.
  1. Once you’ve successfully claimed your store (information on how to do that is available as a section of this FAQ), you will be able to link it to a Melee.gg Organization.
  2. Once you log into your CyberpunkTCG.com account, in the top-right corner of the page, click on your account button.
  3. Choose “Manage Account” from the dropdown menu.
  4. Find the “Manage your Store” section, and click “Manage Stores.”
  5. Choose the store you want to create a link for, and click “Manage Store” on the chosen one.
  6. In the “Tournament Organization” section, click “Link Organization.”
  7. You will be redirected to the Melee.gg login page. Once you log into your Melee.gg account, you will be brought back to complete the process on CyberpunkTCG.com
  8. Choose the Organization you’d like to link the store with from the presented list.
  9. Confirm the details.
  10. The linking process is complete, and the details of the linked store and organization will be presented to you.

Who do I contact about issues in creating an event?

How do I know if I can host a Beta Event?

If you are a Brick & Mortar retailer that: 1) Was approved for Organized Play by end of day May 1st, 2026 and 2) Placed an order that included Beta Event Kits by end of day May 1st, 2026, you should have received allocation numbers for the Event Kits, meaning that you will be able to create and run a Beta Event on Melee.gg.

How do players sign up for a Beta Event?

Local retailers will advertise their Beta Events on Melee.gg. You can find all Cyberpunk TCG Beta Events near you by going to Melee.gg, selecting Cyberpunk TCG under “Browse Games”, and then searching events by your location when prompted.

What comes in a Beta Event Kit?

In a Beta Event Kit, you receive the following:

  • 6 Beta Booster Packs of Welcome to Night City
  • 3 Randomized Legend Promo Cards
  • 1 Guaranteed “Mantis Blades” Full Art Beta Stamped Promo Card
  • 1 Set of 6 Polyhedral Dice

What is the window to run a Beta Event?

September 10-20, 2026.

What is the format of Beta Events?

Players construct a Sealed deck of at least 30 cards from their six packs and select up to 3 Legends they open from their packs or their promos. Then, players select up to 3 colors they can play with in their deck, which do not have to be tied to their Legends.

It is recommended that Beta Events are three rounds, Best-of-3, 60 minutes each.

When can stores sell Beta products?

OP Stores may sell Beta Starter Decks and Beta Displays starting September 1, 2026.

OP Stores may sell Beta Event Kits starting September 10, 2026 (for use within said stores’ Beta Event). These should not be sold separately from a Beta Event until after September 20, 2026.

I have multiple locations, but only one was approved for OP.

It is required that all store locations have an individual submission in our system to become a verified Cyberpunk TCG Organized Play store. Please submit an application for each location here.

Is there a store locator for Cyberpunk TCG?

My Brick & Mortar LGS is not showing up on the Store Locator.

Please ensure that a Retailer Application has been filled out by a representative of the LGS here.

If they have been approved for Organized Play and are not appearing on the store locator, please have a representative from the LGS reach out directly to WeirdCo at community@weird-company.com or in the Retailer Discord and Facebook groups.
