Cyberpunk TCG: Holophone

Cyberpunk TCG: Holophone is an immersive Organized Play experience that connects players to a deep and evolving narrative in Night City as they compete in Cyberpunk TCG.

Through Holophone, players can pledge themselves to one of three factions: Arasaka, Aldecaldos, or Maelstrom. Each faction has its own unique storyline and characters based in Night City after the events of Cyberpunk 2077.

Players use Holophone the same way characters do in Cyberpunk 2077. It connects you to contacts that will give you jobs to complete during tournaments. Completing jobs earns you Street Cred, which you can spend on exciting rewards. And every interaction you have with your faction through Holophone progresses a branching storyline in Night City.

Pick your faction. Start your story. And forge your Legend in Night City.

Holophone launches on October 30 (subject to change).

Please note: At launch, the version of Holophone you’ll engage with is an Alpha build. It is intended to give you a small taste of how you’ll be able to interact with Characters and complete jobs through Holophone. Full narrative content and other features will come to Holophone in early 2027.

After the events of Cyberpunk 2077, Arasaka is vacating Night City.

Leaked info about their convoys and AVs has reached a slew of subnets, and now multiple factions see a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Players must choose:

• Do you want to join Arasaka, immerse yourself in the Corpo lifestyle, and help them execute a seamless exit from Night City — setting yourself up for a preem position in their new empire?
• Will you side with Maelstrom, where you’ll investigate a shady executive that wants to hit the Arasaka convoys hard for a big payday?
• Or will you join the Aldecaldos, and find your way through a complex crossfire between the Wraiths and Snake Nation as they intercept convoys in the Badlands?

One of the most exciting things about Holophone is that it enables us to introduce completely new characters into Cyberpunk 2077 lore.

Based on their faction choice, players will meet:

• Gunnar - A strict, straight-shooting, ex-military Arasaka executive. Gunnar is the kind of Corpo you want leading an extremely sensitive internal security project. He has a job to do, and doesn’t suffer fools lightly. But if you can prove your worth to him, you’ll be rewarded handsomely.
• Forge - In a chaotic and often extremely violent gang, Forge is a shockingly clever Maelstromer. A highly skilled and passionate pyrotechnician, Forge wants to see Arasaka burn — and knows exactly how to make it happen.
• Monise - After traveling across the country to survive during the Unification War, Monise knows a thing or two about convoys. A skilled techie and a lifelong Nomad, Monise knows what it takes to come out on top during an extremely complex conflict.

Thanks to our partnership with Melee, we’re able to connect tournament results to Holophone’s job and messaging systems. This gives all players the chance to engage with the story starting at the local game store level.

This means that players can complete jobs at Weekly Brawls, learn about their character, faction, and story, and earn rewards that provide exclusive prizes. In the future, we’ll be creating unique Holophone narrative experiences for players at Edgerunner Open Regionals too, where things will really heat up!

At launch, Holophone will be available as a web app, accessible through desktop and mobile. On the Holophone main page, players will be able to sign in using their Melee.gg account details, or their cyberpunktcg.com account if they've already linked that to their Melee.gg account.

There's no need to sign up for any new accounts. Simply log into the page once it's live on October 30, choose your faction, complete a short tutorial, and get your first in-game job.
