The Welcome to Night City reveal season is well underway, and we hope you’re all having fun exploring and discussing what’s been shown so far — and speculating about what might be coming next.
To add a little fuel to the fire, we’re bringing you something a bit different today. There won’t be any new cards fully revealed in this blog, but we’re very excited to give you a few teasers and clues about reveals that are coming soon.
We’ve been a little bit tricky with some of these — and a couple have already been revealed. So consider yourself warned, choom!
In Welcome to Night City, you’ll find:
- A Legend that rewards you for rolling a 20.
- A Legend that says “Defeat a rival Unit.”
- A Unit with 7 Power that can be played for as little as 1 Eddie.
- A card that gives your opponent a choice, unless you have more Street Cred.
- A Program that can defeat any unit for only 3 Eddies.
- A Unit that can gain up to 20 power when it Attacks.
- A certain Netrunner that can prevent your Gigs from being stolen.
- A Unit that can draw you up to 12 cards when it’s defeated.
- A Gear that lets you play any Unit from Welcome to Night City in your Trash for free.
- A Program that lets you sell an additional card for that turn.
- A Program named after a main job that lets you play a Gear you find for free.
- A Legend that can defeat itself from the Legend Zone to save another Unit’s life.
- A Program referencing a Cult that defeats any unit.
- A Program that wants your Fixer Area to be empty.
- A Legend that lets you attack with the same Unit twice in a turn.
- A Medtech Unit that punishes your Rival for controlling more Gigs.
- A Unit that says: “At the end of your turn, ready up to 3 friendly Units.”
- An Epic Gear that can directly defeat a rival Unit every turn.
- A Legend that gives Units power when you play a Braindance.
- A Legend with Go Solo and 0 Power, that will never let you down.
- A card that lets you play the top card of your deck for free.
- A Gear that wants to be equipped to V.
- A card with both a Maelstrom tag and a Mox tag.
- A card with the reminder text: “(You still pay its cost.)”
Well, we’re sure that’s given you a lot to think about! If you’ve got theories to discuss, why not plug into the Cyberpunk TCG Discord? We’ve amassed a pretty impressive crew there already, so share your thoughts, and you might just make a few new chooms along the way.
If you want to keep a checklist of which teasers are accounted for over the next few weeks, head on over to our Card Gallery, where you’ll find every Welcome to Night City card that’s been revealed so far.
Until next time!
