What can I do at a Cyberpunk TCG Organized Play store?
Pre-order Cyberpunk TCG products
Now that our Kickstarter campaign is complete, your local game store is your primary destination for pre-ordering and purchasing all Cyberpunk TCG products. Many stores have already opened their pre-orders to customers, so if you’re looking to pick up some starter decks or booster boxes, speak to your LGS.
Stores that registered with us before May 1st even had the opportunity to secure a limited allocation of Welcome to Night City Beta Booster Boxes. So if you’re hunting for Beta packs, it’s worth reaching out to your LGS to see if they’ll have any for sale.
Play in Cyberpunk TCG Beta events
Retailers who signed up with us before May 1st will also have the opportunity to host Cyberpunk TCG Beta Events between September 10 and September 17. These will be "sealed" events, meaning that you don't need to bring any cards along with you. Simply register, show up, open some packs, and play.
To play in a Beta Event, players will need to purchase a Beta Event Kit. Inside each kit you’ll find everything you need to play your first Cyberpunk TCG tournament! We’ll be bringing you full details around Beta Events and our Beta Event Kits next week!
Register for Welcome to Night City pre-release events
A few weeks later, on the weekend of October 30, stores everywhere will run Welcome to Night City pre-release events. These will follow the same format as our limited Beta events, but will use Retail Welcome to Night City Booster Packs.
Pre-release events mark the official start of Cyberpunk TCG in-store Organized Play, and are the perfect place for any player to start their journey in Night City. Get together with friends, learn the game for the first time, crack open some packs, and compete against new local rivals for the very first time.
Participate in Night City Brawls
Following the full retail release of Welcome to Night City on November 6, all Organized Play stores will be able to begin running weekly Night City Brawl events. At Night City Brawls, players bring their constructed Cyberpunk TCG decks and compete to win glory, notoriety, and Brawl packs containing exclusive promo cards.
Night City Brawls are the first rung on the competitive Cyberpunk TCG ladder, and provide a place for everyone to try out new deck ideas, sharpen their skills, hang out with their local community, and prepare for higher tiers of competition.
Prove yourself in Night City Showdowns
Night City Showdowns are competitive in-store tournaments, held once per store, per set. Showdowns mark the culmination of the Night City Brawl season, and are where players put everything they’ve learned over the preceding months into action.
As the level of competition steps up, so do the prizes at stake. At Night City Showdowns, you’ll compete for Showdown-exclusive prizing, including full-art champion variant promos and playmats for the players who come out on top. We’ll be revealing the full prizing lineup for our Night City Showdown events soon, so keep an eye out for that in the weeks ahead!
