Back in June, as part of our first production update, we shared some very important Cyberpunk TCG dates, including our first scheduled Organized Play events, which will take place in local game stores. As we progress toward our Beta Events and Retail Pre-releases, we’re working hard to make your in-store play experiences as consistent, intuitive, and fun as possible.
With that in mind, we’re excited to make another announcement today…
We’ve chosen Melee.gg as our tournament software partner for Cyberpunk TCG!
Choosing the right tournament software partner for Cyberpunk TCG was tough. Ultimately, we chose Melee for its proven tournament platform and because we believe it’s the right decision for our dedicated players and hobby store owners.
Because so many of you supported Cyberpunk TCG on Kickstarter, we’re launching with a large and engaged community of players right off the bat. That means we need to be prepared for high event demand from day one. Melee will help us support that, while delivering reliable and intuitive tournament experiences for players and hobby stores from the very start.
Event scheduling and player account linking are now live
Stores can begin scheduling and listing Cyberpunk TCG events right now! As events appear on Melee over the coming days and weeks, you’ll be able to use the event search page to find events near you.
To play in Cyberpunk TCG tournaments, you’ll need a cyberpunktcg.com account. You can sign up for one here. If the email you use to create your account matches one already associated with a Melee account, you’ll be prompted to link your accounts automatically. If not, you’ll instead be prompted to create a new Melee account and link the two.
Linking your Melee and Cyberpunk TCG accounts is quick and easy. If you forget to link them before you turn up for your first tournament, you’ll be reminded to do so through the Player Controller for your tournament in Melee.
Be sure to keep an eye on the events search page over the next few days and weeks and more stores begin to schedule and list their events for Beta and beyond!
